Tonight was pumpkin and threadfish rice dumplings with my special dumpling sauce (it's just soy sauce mixed with rice vinegar and Sriracha). A combination of fresh melon and taro mochi for dessert.

Nope, but I found a local butcher that has it. I can stock up on chicken hearts too while I'm there.

DH grilled us a beef and cheddar burger (sans tomato slice , maybe next time?), rosemary fries, the last 1/4 of my Snapple Apple and a small glass of Sangria.

A big salad — this time iceberg and romaine, crumbled bacon, shaved shallot, brown mushrooms, celery, red cabbage, grated carrot, sunflower seeds, and croutons.

I will poach a chicken breast to top the salad and also feed the grateful cats, except the fat weird one who doesn’t like fresh chicken.

I may serve with little goat cheese toasts instead of croutons.

Apple slices.
