I made a cheese burger, topped with a tomato and some green chili sauce from the Pio Pio chain in NYC. Had some chips and wine on the side.

Today was game day. I made buffalo chicken dip (not a typical thing I would make, it was requested) with tortilla chips and pita chips, hot wings, cucumber and tomato salad, carrots and snap peas with dip, beet chips, molasses cookies, chocolate chip cookies, beer, hard cider, sparkling water. Basic game day stuff. The kids were happy and we won.

Well I hate to turn on the oven in this heat but I might as well: I need to make he Rhubarb pie so will just heat up he entire kitchen. I have to keep dinner a bit on the simple side as we are going out for brunch after church and we will be late getting out of church anyway cause we have: clean up the kitchen duties today. So dinner will be meat loaf and with it I won't even do a carb, just a very small fruit salad for each of us and a veggie. God only knows we have plenty veggies in the fridge.

went to the taqueiria that we like for dinner last night. I got a brisket taco, a goat taco, and a fried chicken taco. Agua fresca to drink.

Tonight will be pork ribs with chipotle maple glaze, corn on the cob, tomatoes, and fresh peaches for dessert.
