You made the best thing EVER just 6 days ago. What you make for dinner? Who cares?!

I'm having a piece of Portuguese chicken.

She is absolutely beautiful! Congrats!

Tonight I am having a salad and hopefully I spell this right, kabossy. There is someone on the food board, I wish I could remember who, that told me to buy it at the Polish deli. I finally did and it was a hit with the family.

Thanks ladies! I think she’s pretty perfectly beautiful.

I think Burdell is the resident Polish sausage expert, if memory serves.

Lubby, little Margot weighed 7lbs 2 oz and she is our first baby to make it after many years of trying. I had to inject myself with blood thinners every day for 9 months as it turned out I have a genetic clotting disorder to go with my thyroid disease. I’m so grateful she’s here now it makes everything worth it.

The cold reaches my town tonight. Will be making a hearty soup with homemade chicken stock, zucchini, red bells, onions, fines herbes, cannellini beans & andouille, topped with freshly grated parm, and some crusty dark bread to go with. Clementines and pears for dessert.

Enjoy every minute with Marot. I know about the thyroid situation from many years ago. I could conceive but couldn't carry very long. God took care of us; we do have one biological daughter and two wonderful adopted kids. Take care and thanks for keeping us posted.
