We had take out from AJ's gourmet grilled cheese. I had BBQ chicken on grilled sourdough and hubby had a Philly melt on grilled sourdough. Both came with homemade chips and dipping sauce.

Chopped sauteed potatoes with sauerkraut, caramelized onions, and heaps of smoked paprika. Garnished with kalamata olives to give it a nice meatlike taste, as well as broccoli sprouts and pickled herring.

Fairly cold here today so looks like I might turn on the over. I am doing a meatloaf, having left over rice and broccoli. I also have a little cottage cheese which wants to be eaten, so we will have it on the side.

Busy night of skiing tonight. I decided to shortcut dinner and just grabbed a couple frozen pizzas. It's not gourmet but it beats the food they sell there. We are there for only 4ish hours so I hate to have to pack everyone's dinner. So quick and easy frozen pizza before we leave sounds perfect.

As a strictly IPA drinker, I've got to try Apocalypse. Any IPA with such a bold name has got to be good!

Every single person I've come in contact with in December is still recovering from some virus/flu/cold, including me. I wish I craved something, cuz I just don't want to eat anything, ever. Yesterday, I hauled my low energy behind out to the nearest market for some lettuce... couldn't find any other decent veggies or fruits... but, like you, having not eaten a decent veg in weeks, I needed something. Being ill is new to me... it ain't fun. Feel better soon, G!

For me, I defrosted homemade spaghetti sauce & meatballs. Going to heat up in the crockpot later... even researched tossing in dry pasta in the last 30-min to cook up sans having to boil in an additional pot. I'm not feeling good enough to bother, so it's gonna be a 1 pot deal.

Since I have no appetite... as a last resort, I may save the pasta dinner for tomorrow & just eat some Romaine with lemon/avocado oil. I'm just not hungry... boo.

Begone illness, you have no power here...
