The beet soup - borscht - that I made yesterday, is even better today. I added mushrooms, spinach. broccoli. more red cabbage, beer and sliced crisp sauteed potatoes with caramelized onions.

We’re taking the week off from our meal plan, so back to some home cooking. DH requested spaghetti, so I’ll get some bolognese sauce going in a while.

I’m also trying no knead artisan bread, baked in a Dutch oven. Fresh herbs.

bought 10 chicken thighs in a family pack package .79lb less than 4 dollars for all of them.
baked them with sugar free bbq sauce....very good!! I had two - have the rest in fridge for later in the week
