Snowing outside - so :

Creamy spicy curried cauliflower soup, served with crusty baguettes, and a sunshiny arugula, and sliced orange salad sprinkled with crumbled goat cheese.

For desert, hot toddies, and three Walker's short bread cookies. Just three.

Day 2 after bunion surgery. Hubby is doing a great job of the cooking, and everything else. Tonight he made burgers, toasted buns, a garlic, Dijon, sour cream sauce, and roasted sweet potatoes.

We didn't get home until super late tonight and the little one still needed dinner too, so tonight was whole wheat pasta with a Trader Joe's arrabbiata sauce. I made a walnut oil and champagne vinegar vinaigrette for a giant salad. Sparkling water to drink. Cara Cara oranges for dessert.

off subject but did you have both done at once or only one? I had mine done years ago. After a few days I was back to doing the cooking and just about everything. Good luck and good luck to your wonderful hubby for stepping forward.
