Honestly, for the price they are darn good, better than many diners and certainly better than the breakfast offerings at Starbucks. Their coffee/Cappuccino is also very good.

They used to offer a chicken biscuit for either $1 or $2, but it was pressed meat. They're now offering a thick cut of all breast meat for $3. In my local area, that's cheaper than Hardee's or Bojangle's for a chicken biscuit.

A McD's sausage biscuit is a buck. For some reason, I find their greasy, fatty sausage patty to be delicious. I'll sometimes sneak one in the mornings with spare change. It's not healthy, but it tastes good.

A couple weeks ago, I headed out to McD's from the office and got a big breakfast with hotcakes/sausage. I threw the biscuit away, ate the hash brown on the way back, and ate the hotcakes/eggs/sausage at the office. It was better than any fast food breakfast I've had in awhile, and only $6 or so with a Diet Coke.

Anyone else fond of a McD's breakfast?
I used to be fond of McD's breakfast deals.

Those were the days.....Sausage McMuffin w/ Egg in the drive-thru on the way to work.

Cheap price then, as now. But doo-doo is always cheap.

Back in the good ol' days when I was 80 pounds overweight, had high blood pressure, and other bad numbers.

Sorry to rant.....but I don't miss those days.

I guess what you really mean is a "Steve McDonald's" breakfast, right? Fresh fruits & fresh ground oatmeal with dried cranberries, chicken breast with a tomato? The chicken breast was also organic, right? I guess that McDonald's has improved a lot, LOL!

P.S.: No offense to people who love McDonald's.

And of course, the chicken is also free-range-----the whole schtick.

The problem with that is, when I tried to order lunch one day just before 10:30am they would not let me, they were only serving breakfast. I won't go into detail but the whole thing was almost funny as it was 10;25 and by the time I finally ordered something else, I was told they were sorry I had to wait so long for my breakfast but they were backed up with orders and short handed. I got my meal at 10:45.

there is a difference. The items might be the same, but the flavor is different and the quality as well. This is not to say, there isn't a place for fast food, but there is a reason why they get it out so fast as well.

I will wait until after breakfast hours to go if I am anywhere close to switchover time.

I like that they have all day breakfast now.

Love their hotcakes

Egg McMuffin is good too, anytime of day.

An egg mcmuffin hold the meat, hash brown and a Sprite is my breakfast of choice when I am roadtripping. The husband hates stopping to get it though. He knows it means an emergency rest area stop is next!

I like bacon, egg and cheese biscuit, but my favorite thing is to order two hash browns and a side of gravy, break up the hash browns and pour the gravy over it.

My mom used to make crispy fried potatoes and biscuits and gravy and I did the same thing - skipped the biscuits and poured gravy on the fried potatoes - YUM!

I love Starbucks lattes, but I like McDonald's coffee much better than Starbucks regular coffee, and it's only $1 for any size.

Sadly, the cashier has absolutely no way to ring up your lunch order before 10:30. The burgers, etc., are not even on the cash register until then, and the non-all day breakfast items disappear at the same time. Progress...
