Interesting thread!

Onions
Garlic
Mushrooms
Broccoli
Green Beans

We eat a lot of other veggies, too, but they're either uncooked or we don't eat them often enough to make the cut.

Mushrooms
Broccoli
Cauliflower (I'm eating cauliflower soup right now)
Red bell peppers (cheap here and make a wonderful roasted bell pepper soup)
Lotsa potatoes, but we weren't supposed to mention them!

Corn is awful here or I'd be eating corn on the cob!

I usually make soup out of all the above. I juice beets, carrots, celery, cukes.

Onions and garlic in everything.

Broccoli
cauliflower
potatoes
onions
cabbage

The pepper family, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts tend to be the stars at our table.

But we're very fond of the homely, humble veggies (carrots, onions, corn, rutabaga, cabbage, beans, potatoes.) They're so versatile and meals would seem colorless without them.
