Onion, celery, carrot = mirepoix + garlic
Tomatoes - whole, chopped, puree, sauce, paste
Green beans, as in, "Well, we could always have green beans if we can't decide."
Corn - My son is here a few times a month for dinner and he loves corn.
Broccoli?

I adore asparagus, but can't often find anything really good in the markets.

I don't think I've eaten a cooked vegetable in probably two years. Let's see if I can make that 37.

Except for fried onions, like a Bloomin Onion.
