Yeah, but Europe has WONDERFUL public transportation. They make it inexpensive and convenient NOT to drive your car. In London (LOL, the original one), the mayor instituted a "congestion fee" that people have to pay if they drive in the city. It's working so well at cutting down traffic that NYC is considering it, too.

Wow, thank youf ro the tip on the basil. I will also try to do the rosemary. I am a self described "foodie" and I love using the fresh herbs and vegetables. However, it can be so expensive because they go bad so quickly. So I will definitely try your ideals. I also have a single tomato plant growing courtesy of my 2 year old's day at a children's garden. So who knows, maybe I will have some tomatoes also.
