In a can is the best for the throat feel. Cigarettes also give that back of the throat hit. I used to come home from work and open a can of coke and light a cigarette and it was nirvana. Of course, now I don't smoke any more and - well, you get the picture.

We have Mexican coke here, too. And Jarritos. But I prefer San Pellegrino.

I do enjoy me some Mexican coke. It's the only good tasting one. I don't know how they get away selling the crap they do in the US.

Yes. I get the same "throat burn" from San Pellegrino. Just as good a burn, naturally zero calories.

Why would I drink HFCS junk food? If I liked Coke, I’d drink the Mexican glass bottles made with sugar. I stock some for a friend who drinks rum & coke. I drink tap water run through a high quality activated charcoal filter. If I’m gonna drink something with empty calories, it had better have alcohol in it.

Yes, exactly. I drink Worcester, MA produced Polar seltzer water and when you pop open the can and take that first drink, you can get that throat burn.

For me it`s the nose burn, from a big dose of horseradish. Ii will clear your sinuses, that`s for sure.

As a kid I quickly decided that Coke was a burning mouthful of swill, and I was always a Pepsi drinker after that.

I get the same sensation from the Chinese hot mustard. Not the packed ones, but the mustard on the table at restaurants.

People around here say "Pepsi's for junkies."

Cave Creek is bottled with a serrano in each. On a hot day, with the beer ice cold, you can slam your first gulp and then the serrano hits you.
