Via, I really like them when travelling.

Trader Joe's sells pre-mixed instant coffee in packets w/ some sugar and creamer - cheap and tastes good for instant coffee IMO.

The different water has something to do with it. Otherwise I like it.

My friend uses Starbuck instant coffee packets and loves it. I don't make coffee at home much anymore so I haven't tried it yet.
Taster’s Choice....is that freeze dried? I think maybe that is the one I was thinking of earlier. If yes, I think it’s not bad either for instant.

Yes, that's it. I couldn't remember earlier. I think I've seen them at Costco.

None IMO but I guess if I had to go with Instant I would say Folgers crystals.

Folgers or Great-Value instant, both are pretty good.

I am VERY cheap and have tried to get away with buying the dollar/cheapy jars of instant from
various stores.................NOPE, always horrible, weak and questionable caffeine-content.

Nescafe Clásico - it's even what is in some hotel rooms in Italy!

I agree as I've tried them all, and for someone who drinks coffee minus a proliferation of cream and sugar find Via the most "true coffee-like" in flavor and aroma than the others.

I have to go with Starbucks Via as well. However, I normally don't buy them because of the price. Folgers has similar individual packets I buy at a much lower cost. I bought a jar of the Nescafe for a recipe and have been working on using it up (I'm mostly a tea drinker). It's kind of meh..

I'm not familiar with instant coffee but you might want to try the espresso. I still see CB in the coffee aisle, so I'm assuming it's still as good as it was when I tried it.
I second this. I buy the regular one for daily use but went camping last year and tried the instant. It is very good and the best instant I've tried and it is also an espresso.

I've seen it at Target and Walgreens in my area.
