Nevermind! Looked it up and it looks to be available on-line. Maybe if I look at some of the ethnic groceries....

Yes, you can definitely find the 3 in 1 instant coffee at Asian grocery stores.

Amazon has some and this site - http://www.efooddepot.com- that I usually go to to buy Asian dried foods has hundreds of result when I searched for "instant coffee". My recent favorite is G7 Coffee 3 in 1 - from Vietnam. I like my coffee sweet, so from my friend's suggestion, I usually add condensed milk to make it sweeter.

Actually instant coffee isn't as gross as you'd think. But it also depends on the brand. I normally buy Folgers and Maxwell House, and while my husband much prefers the Maxwell House, I like them both. Yuban, and the double strength Yuban is also a great tasting instant coffee. My husband mainly drinks instant coffee, and has most his life. And while growing up on the farm, his mother always made Nescafe Instant Coffee, unless it was a holiday or when she had a lot guests over celebrating a birthday or anniversary, then she'd make a pot of regular ground coffee (and as to what brand of ground coffee, I wouldn't have a clue.)

My husband gets up earlier than me, so he makes his own coffee in the microwave using instant coffee, and I must say, he makes one heck of a cup of coffee. To me, it tastes just as good as if I made it in the coffee maker or in the Keurig Brewer. I don't know how he does it, but it's really good.

Not too long ago, my husband told me he much prefers the taste of instant coffee over coffee made in a coffee maker. And that's ok with me, as I have plenty of instant coffee in the pantry, and I'm glad he doesn't mind making his own cup of JOE in the morning.

Default Best instant coffee(if there is such a thing)

I wonder if any kind of instant coffee comes close in flavor of home brewed. If so what kind? I had a jar of instant coffee that was about 3 years old. It wasn't too bad but then adding things like sweeteners etc. Made it passable to drink. Any suggestions as to best instant coffee?

There is an instant esspresso. Can’t think of the nane. I think it is better that instant Folgers. Have a look at your grocer.

I think Yuban used to have an instant. Can’t remember how it tasted.

Sometimes I add instant coffee granules to chocolate brownies or chocolate cookies.

I haven’t had instant in decades but I do remember that I once used a freeze dried instant that wasn’t too bad, maybe Folgers?

I buy folgers coffee bags, for trips. It is passable, not good but better than nothing. think they call them coffee singles, I call them coffee bags, because they are packaged the same as a tea bag. They are convenient.

Costco's Kirkland brand, comes in 3 lb cans. I buy and ship it up when I operate our seasonal remote Alaska office.

It's a Colombian dark roast.

Years ago, I had to add espresso coffee to a recipe, and picked up Café Bustelo. It smelled great, so I tasted a little. It was very good, and I ended up using up the small bottle, even though I haven't had it since.

I'm not familiar with instant coffee but you might want to try the espresso. I still see CB in the coffee aisle, so I'm assuming it's still as good as it was when I tried it.

Medaglia D'Oro
Aldi's brand is good enough for me, though. Kroger's too.
