Got the #13 The Original Italian from Jersey Mike's today. It was seriously awesome.

My kids love Jersey Mike's. I just picked them up some sandwiches on Sunday. My 11 year old likes the ham and provolone with lettuce and avocado. My 8 year old likes the kid's meal with pepperoni and provolone. I usually get the 11 yo a mini because they are very generous with the meat and cheese and I think it's plenty big enough for her, but when we got home, she scarfed it down in just a few minutes. I think I'm going to have to start getting her the regular, LOL.

They aren't bad. We have a few local, one shop, places I like better.

They're okay, definitely better than Subway where all the ingredients somehow taste the same. I wish JM's used better quality meats versus as much of it, quality over quantity.....Although I will say not sure if it's a local thing or nationwide, bonus points for the fact they are the only fast food outlet I know of that actually uses ripe tomatoes on their sandwiches.

Call me crazy but I wish I could get JM's food on Subway's bread.
FYI: Have you noticed that there are gaps in the numbers on their store's menu? If you go to their site you'll see all their options. Apparently each location can tailor their menus but will make anything you ask for. Had a #11 Stickball Special recently which was not on out local location's menus. Very nice combination!!! YUMMM!!!

They cost far too much. I go across the street to Publix to get a bigger Cheese Steak for almost half the price.

Overrated. We have a local shop that puts Jersey Mikes to shame.

Publix's cost $6.45 for a half and Jersey Mike's is $7.45, also for a half....so it would appear your math is off quite a bit.

I had their cheese steak the other day and it was good. My buddy had the chipotle steak? hot sandwich and he liked it.
But for an Italian sub, there is a nice Italian deli that makes the best Italian subs and their price is cheaper than JM.
