You gotta try the Kettle Brand pepperoncini chips. Not kidding. I NEVER would have bought them - I'm not a huge pepperoncini fan. Then I read this and HAD to find them. https://www.epicurious.com/expert-ad...ranked-article

DH is caught between trying to drop some weight and picking up a bag of Trader Joe's ghost pepper chips. The chips are The clear winner of this battle.

"You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Jkgourmet, lubby, and greatblueheron again."

Polar Water Sparkling Grapefruit (no sweetener) is my latest craze. I had three cans of Pamplemousse (Grapefruit) La Croix at a theatre two nights last week, and enjoyed them more than I expected (I usually choose plain San Pellegrino), so I tried the Polar Water version yesterday. It costs half of what I'd pay for La Croix (5.99/12 cans v. 5.49/6 cans). I don't know if I like the La Croix more or what, but I don't feel as drawn to the Polar Water as I was to the La Croix at the theatre. Maybe I was just thirstier those two nights.

I'm going to try a six-pack of La Croix Pamplemousse, but I think in general, I'll continue with unflavored San Pellegrino (or its cheaper Whole Foods version).

Oh, and Cheetos have become a thing as well. I also picked them up at the theatre.

Lubby reminds me that I've been making my own hummus a lot lately. There's a recipe on nytimes.com based on Michael Solomonov's recipe from his restaurant Zahav, in Philadelphia. It greatly simplifies the process and is highly recommended over the original. I eat it with sliced cucumbers rather than pita bread.

Walker's Scottish shortbread fingers. Only the fingers will do and I got one box with coupons for three more purchases! So of course I have to use them. I made the mistake of sending the H and he got round ones
