Not especially Earth Shattering information but I had no idea that all of these were from one plant!
Thought that I might not be the only one to find this interesting.

How interesting! I did know that food group was all related because my allergy Dr told me that if you are allergic to one, you will be allergic to the others--all closely related. But I never knew they were one plant and not that they came from the mustard plant either.
Radishes and turnips are not related to them, are they? (I love turnips but radishes burn too much and I can't eat something that hurts.) Rutabegas are a turnip. I love them more than the little turnips.

from this one plant.....with human intervention we get all these other veggies?? or if the plant was growing by itself all the buds would fall off to grow the different plants??
This is very interesting to say the least. I can see the relationship but never dreamed they, basically were form the same plant. Now I wonder about things like bok choy? it always seemed to me to be part of the cabbage family, more so than Kale.
