McDonald's is bringing some international menu items to the United States.

The chain will start selling the Stroopwafel McFlurry, the Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger, the Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich and Cheesy Bacon Fries at participating McDonald's locations nationwide starting June 5. The company announced the limited-time promotion on Wednesday.

I hope they bring some of the menu items from the French McDonald's to the US. Compared to the US garbage, the French McDonald's is almost a two-star Michelin restaurant. It makes no sense. McDonald's is an American-based company. We get trash in the US while other countries get better and more innovative food.

Not sure about that idea. There are already endless videos of customers and employees fighting inside McDonald's. I can't imagine letting these people drink their McBeers inside the golden arches would end well.

They serve the food at your table here in the states. You just have to order it at the kiosk or cashier if its a location that still has one.

But looking at the british menu, quarter pounder with cheese? What happened to the Royal with cheese?

It must be something that have just brought in, although table service used to be the norm in burger chains such as Wimpy, who were the first big burger chain in the UK.

Wimpy was well before my time, but apparently Wimpy is still operating and has plans to open more outlet in the UK, although back in the day it was the big chain before McDonalds arrived.

I think the Royale with Cheese might have been what they called the Big Mac in Paris, at least according to the film Pulp Fiction.

McDonals UK usually have lots of promotions named after US States or Countries, there is a difference, and they don't use as much additives, however the difference isn't vast like it is in terms of McDonalds in India, Japan and elsewhere in the Far East.
