I just emailed the company. That is the piece of "paper" that is at the bottom of the berry containers. This from a container of Driscoll raspberries. Dare I say it looks like mold? Any idea what that is?

Yes, it does and it is - I would discard the berries, could be covered in spores

Raspberries are very moist, porous, water-rich and delicately skinned, meaning they soak up excess moisture in their environment very easily.
Mold happens quite fast and is on the bottom of the fruit, invisible when the container is full. Therefore hard to discover. Looking at the bottom might or might not gives some clues, depending how bad the mold has already spread.
Tilting the container gently to reveal the bottom might help.
Sadly it's unavoidable. Check on the freshness date. Check on the lining. If getting wet - don't buy them.
Food safety experts say that while you shouldn't eat berries that are obviously moldy, those without visible signs of the spores are fine to eat.
LOL! You do know that sourdough starter is often made from the mold that coats berries?
If you wind up dead, please let us know.
Right. We all eat some moldy food just before the mold starts to be visible. Most people won’t get sick from eating moldy foods. Of course, some people are more sensitive than others. If you develop symptoms or if you became ill, for most people, any illness at all would be temporary and not dangerous or violent.
Most of us just remove moldy piece and perhaps few surrounding it and eat the rest. We also tend to cut off moldy areas from other food. It's ok in most cases.
Let's see if I wind up dead in the next day or two...
Been there, done that.
Usually nothing happens but worst that did was a early visit to the restroom. I'm sure you'll be fine
