I used to love Guinness Stout, drank it as a treat a few times a year, but the last few times I've had it, I didn't enjoy it and no longer want it.
What have you lost your taste for that you used to love?

Usually it's something I was obsessed with to the point of getting sick of it. Years ago it was Sour cream and green onion potato chips.

Right now, I've no taste for wine I used to enjoy....just don't have the urge or even think of it. Last time a friend was here we drank some but no more since then. It doesn't even smell good when I take it out to use for cooking.

I no longer crave fried foods and rich foods as much as I used to. And I eat a lot less red meat than I once did. It's not that I don't enjoy the taste occasionally it just seems too much to indulge in those things as frequently as I used to.

Somewhere along the line my body learned that a simple stalk of steamed broccoli can taste good without being drenched in a rich sauce.

I don't like mac n' cheese much anymore. A couple of bites and I'm done. Not enough texture, not enough interplay of flavors.

Reading this reminded me that I’ve lost my taste for the rich tomatoey red sauce I used to enjoy on pizza. I prefer my pizza unsauced at this time in my life. I also am not interested in eating any rich tomato sauce at this time in my life.

I used to like peanut butter, especially as a dip for apple slices. I’ve moved over to almond butter, and don’t desire or have a taste for peanuts in any form now.

I don’t care for cottage cheese anymore, either.

I've mostly lost my taste for alcoholic drinks of any kind. The only thing I drink now is an occasional glass of wine, Baileys on the rocks occasionally, and eggnog with brandy at Christmas.

I can't say I've lost my taste for any food I have liked. At least not that I can think of. There are things that I don't really eat anymore, like Mallomars, but that's not because I no longer like them.

Oh wow, far too many things to mention but I just want to say that I think that as people age it's normal to lose cravings or interests in some kinds of foods and to develop whole new interests in other completely different foods. I've dropped a lot of once favourite foods from my diet but I've also grown more adventurous and introduced my taste buds to a lot of new foods and recipes.

Some of my new taste interests are foods which I'd have sworn 20 or 40 years ago that I would never touch with a 10 foot pole. And some of the foods I've lost interest in, if it had been suggested to me back then that I might eventually lose interest in them I would have been shocked. Like cheesecake for example. I loved that stuff for 30 years and then one day I couldn't even stomach the sight of it. I found something else to take its place.

I used to eat spaghetti with red sauce virtually everyday. I stopped eating it due to my diagnosis as Type II diabetic about two years ago.

I tried a small portion a few weeks ago....about made me sick. Don't know if it was carb overload or losing my taste for pasta but, never again.
