That's what we do. We use beef broth, coconut milk for a delicious base with ginger or sometimes peanut butter. And add cooked pork loin, asparagus, mushrooms, carrots, cabbage, broccoli. Toss in some nuts.

It ends up being one of our most favorite, flavorful and healthy meals.

Usually I don't have much on hand which is why I'm making them in the first place. So all I add if I have it is butter and/or an egg. I always put only half the "flavor" packet in. It's just salt.

I used to like to add left over pot roast and salsa.

I had to read the title several times to understand ramen noodles! I suspect autocorrect!

A little shredded chicken and some salsa verde in any of the chicken flavored ones, and definitely not the full seasoning packet. Save the other half to use on plain rice or something.

I too throw it out or put it aside to use with something sometime. It is always good as a flavor and sodium addition to dishes so my blood pressure can shoot up and my legs can swell like they belong to a fat legged animal of some kind.

My FAVORITE seasonings to add, which had great taste across several flavors of Ramen noodles, were either celery salt or bullion cubes.

As far as vegetables, I always got my ideas from the packaging, LOL (hint: the styrafoam cups already include freeze-dried vegetables, whereas the plastic sleeves do not)

They mean Ramen noodles, aka Roman noodles, aka Romaine noodles.

I never use an add-in, certainly not cheese! Drain off the water, add 1/4 to 1/2 of the packet of chicken salt, stir and eat.

At most I would add peas or something. But only if it were a emergency. An emergency that requires me to eat peas.
