Have you tried these? Which do you like best? A&W in Montreal have beyond meat. They sold so much that it sold out. BK now has the Impossible Burger. I think that's better. Beyond is kind of crumbly but impossible meat had good texture. I may never eat cow again.

I had the Impossible Burger at Carl Jrs. (Hardee's) when they were giving them away for free last month with the purchase of a beverage.

When I took a bit of the burger with all of the great toppings that Carl Jrs placed on the sandwich, I thought that it was pretty decent. When I removed the vegetable patty and ate it separately, the texture of the patty was mush. Honestly, it reminded me of the 50% ground beef / 50% TVP mix that the schools used to provide us. Both were pretty bad.

I would not pay $6 for it.

I've had both at several different locations and the Impossible has been superior by a wide margin in my opinion. Now I hope restaurants will learn to cook both of them better. They have been overcooked at almost every place I've had either one.

I haven’t tried the IB, but I wasn’t that impressed with Beyond Meat. The flavors are passable, but the texture off and contained bits that reminded me of the chewy fillers in regular burgers. But I’ll eat it again, especially if fully loaded with all my usual fixins and condiments.

My daughter seemed to like it, and couldn’t tell the difference from her usual all beef patty. And she’s a dyed-in-the-wool, bloody red meat carnivore.

Beyond has no soy (they use pea protein). Neither one tastes like beef or are very healthy in terms of sodium and fat content.

I've had both, at more than one restaurant. I like both, but I think Impossible has a slight edge.

Are you sure you had the Impossible Burger? Carl's Jr has the Beyond Burger on its menu, never heard of them carrying IB.

I could not vote as I haven't had either of these....yet. Mr C said he read that sodium was super high because they've added so many different things in there to get it to taste like meat. He didn't know/remember the total mg's of sodium., but I reminded him there's a lot of soups out there with a high volume of sodium too. Not sure when or if I'm going to try any of these. Probably not anytime soon.

My husband mentioned one ingredient in particular to me. It maybe illogical, but it kind of turned me off. I probably won't be trying one anytime soon. I haven't been to a Burger King in years. I don't think that's going to change anytime soon.
