I still make salads in the winter -- my husband likes them and they're a quick and easy way to get vegetables in us. However, I also eat a lot of soup in the winter -- I make mine full of vegetables, and am often more enthusiastic about eating soup than salad in the cold months.

We tend to eat salads year round, too. They usually are fuller, and may come with soup in the winter, though.

We eat side salads all year round. My DH is in a rut lately with Olive Garden salad dressing. We only have things like pasta salad for the main course in the hot weather. I throw down a Waldorf salad (apples, nuts, celery and Miracle Whip) once in awhile to go with pork.
I sometimes get a craving for Wendy's Baja salad (with chili) for dinner.

LOL I love it also when she says stuff like "add the lobster to the mac and cheese. That never hurt anybody"
