We watched it and it was overall pretty good. I did find David Chang to be kind of an A hole to a certain degree. Opinionated, and whiny at times. I don't know how many times he had to complain that Asian cuisine is not "respected" enough in the culinary world among a few other annoying things about him.

LOL, maybe it's just me.
No, but Iím watching a Chef Table in which a Russian chef is trying to bring back traditional Russian food, with a modern twist. He says in the 75 years of communist rule, the cuisine was lost. He lost me at Moose Lips, though.

did anyone watch the worst cooks in America celebrity series which ended last Sunday? It did nothing for me except the guy who was the runner up. He was too funny. The rest of it was nothing. I would call it staged.

I'm really tired of this style of show. Rather watch reruns of actual informative cooking shows.

Is it me, or is it hard to find sour cream or cream cheese with any “zing”? It seems to me that most of them have lost the sharp flavor they used to have.

totally agree. I always lover "futures stars" but the past few years, the winner is never heard from again, so it seems as staged as the rest.

If anyone else uses Aretha Frankenstein Pancake Mix, which is awesome, there’s a muffin recipe on the box that is pretty good. You just put the pancake batter into muffin tins and add whatever you want. I put pecans and brown sugar on the top before baking, but you could throw some berries in too.

They usually get a show for one season (Next Food Network Star), which they are 1 and done. Guy seems to be the only one that has lasted, having several shows. I do like watching Top Chef and Master Chef Jr.

The Sandwich man is still on some shows and he won about 7 or so years ago: There was also Mellisa or I think that was her name. She had a program on for several years called dinner under $10 or something like that. Anyway I always watched her and she still, occasionally is a judge. There have been a few others, but most are here today, gone tomorrow. as for Guy, I loved him at first but now I am sick of him. It is almost like the network should be named, Guy, chopped and the food network, so of like when Rachael was the super star.

I prefer watching PBS and Sara Moulton, and programs like that including Top Chef, but I haven't seen Master Chef Jr.
