How many of you are learning how to cook/make dishes through Youtube? I am finding myself using this now due to the lack of free/cheap and in depth cooking classes at my city. It can be a miss sometimes though as some dishes don't taste too good....still learning.

It's this really cool pizza and pasta place called Italian Express Pizzeria and the owner, Jimmy, is just a freakin' AWESOME DUDE!

Their pizza is fabulous. And, OMG, their cheese ravioli... droooool! They also have a dish named after the mayor of Boston (Mayor Menino), called Rolled Eggplant Menino, because that's all he ever orders when he comes by.

Anyway, I know it'll be more fun for me to watch than it will for you because I've been there a bunch of times and Jimmy is now my pal, but still... if your TV is on and there's nothing else to watch, tune in. It'll be like we're watching it together.
YAY!!! The piece is finally on YouTube, so you can all see "my" Jimmy. Ha!

I was disappointed, though, that he was so low-key and quiet. He's not a quiet guy. In fact, the thing that he does that cracks me up is that whoever is eating meatballs, he'll go to their table and say "So. You like my balls?" or "How are your balls? Good?"

Walter Greenspan...

I just read through the pomegranate post and saw that Walter Greenspan became an "Eternal Member" and that a few people had posted a message on his profile that he'd died.

When did he pass away?
Was he ill?

He was such a nice man.

RIP, Walter.

Default I am so hungry today and I'm not sure why

I had a boiled egg for breakfast and not long ago I had a sandwich which was deli sliced chicken with colby jack cheese on german white bread with butter on the bread. I ate the sandwich about an hour ago and I am ready to go and fix something else to eat and I never eat so much in one day. Usually it would be the egg for breakfast or one serving of oatmeal or cream of rice, 1/2 of the sandwich and a piece of fruit for lunch and some sort of soup, pasta, or grilled something and a vegetable for supper. Today I just cannot seem to get enough to eat....Oh well, off to the kitchen to see what I can forage...
