My neice (18) told me the other day that she WILL NOT EAT FISH!!! ITS GROSS! I knew her mom made her fish sticks(yes, probably questionable if it is fish) and said that she has had fish. She said her mom told her the fish sticks were made of chicken. I asked her, "then why do they call them fish sticks?" She had a blank stare for a good 15 seconds(felt like 5 min), laughed and then went and yelled at her mom. Now she won't eat these fish sticks! Her mom isn't too happy with me.

Jasper, my cat, has decided he should "supervise" all activities in the kitchen. He thinks I should only cook salmon and tilapia. He has no use for any soy products, or vegetables.

I feel.....cleansed. This morning I cleaned out my refrigerator and freezer to make room for the holiday stuff. They look so bright and sparkly, and I love knowing exactly what I have again.

I baked some cookies and a cheesecake this morning, so now I have room in the freezer for them until Christmas. I also love the feeling of having so many things prepared ahead of time.

Reminds me of my "friend who doesn't like anything". She loves Lemon Meringue Pie, but hates lemon. She doesn't like "fishy" fish, but likes some fish. She orders rum and pineapple juice, but half the time, she doesn't like the pineapple juice. It makes it almost impossible to be sure of making a meal she will like, because her likes and dislikes make no logical sense.

Default To All Chinese Food Establishments Everywhere

I live in SE PA and have eaten at a whole lot of Chinese Food Establishments.....
for the very first time in years, and I do mean a whole lot of years, I found a Chinese Restaurant who actually makes the broth for they're won ton soup flavorful....
Geeze Louise, why can't other Chinese do this, normally there is no flavor to the broth what-so-ever and it tastes like dishwater....
