Pei Wei (salad, buffets, filling, places)

Do you tip at Pei Wei? They do not have a "tip" area on their charge/debit receipt but their service is excellent. Although you order at the counter and self serve your drinks they come by and bring you your food, check on you often and will even refill your drinks for you. So I am confused should I be tipping them?

I always tip when I feel it's warranted. I've even tipped for takeout when the staff was really polite and offered me a drink while I waited. It's the same way at Souper Salad - I always left a buck or two on the table. Even though they didn't take my order, they brought stuff and refilled drinks, so I thought they earned it.

At places like that and buffets, it has always been customary to leave $1 per person if they are filling your drinks, taking your used plates, etc.
