Condiments would spoil good fried chicken. I'm still sad my favorite fried chicken place closed. They were in business for decades. All they sold was fried chicken, french fries and coleslaw. Suddenly they added all these other dishes and poof. The chicken went downhill and they're out of business.

Oh, great question. I would go with honey or hot sauce depending on my mood. I have never thought to mix the two.

Good fried chicken doesn't NEED condiments. It's perfect as it is.

I only use condiments on fried chicken tenders or like a fried breast filet. A hint of ketchup will do in a pinch. Friend chicken places often have their own tangy sauce which is usually the best option.

But yea, bone in fried chicken doesn't need anything.

I like a Carolina mustard barbecue sauce.

This is a good one:

Condiments? Only if it's chicken nuggets.
Otherwise it's fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, or the occasional chicken and waffles.
