For me it would be butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese, black pepper, and maybe some broccoli...

When I am not cutting back on calories and I have steak, my favorite sides are baked potatoes with salt, pepper, sour cream, and butter, corn on the cob with kosher salt and butter, and a garden salad with bleu cheese and bleu cheese dressing. Every now and then I will throw in a side of Texas toast.

I love to make a sweet cream sauce with a sauteed red bell pepper minced then cooked in olive oil and garlic and add some apricot preserves till thickened and add heavy whipping cream simmer on med-low heat add some fruit juice like apricot or peach or pineapple even and let that thicken also and reduce with white zin wine or another sweeter white or blush wine. add some salt and wowwwzers its awesome with steak and over white rice and sauted zucchini and yellow squash!!! So Delish!

Rice pilaf is my first choice. Second choice is a baked potato with the works (butter, sour cream, chives). Yum!
