In total agreement with this. Ketchup is, as was said above, sacrilege on a steak.

Ketchup on steak is like ketchup on lobster.

I use nothing, maybe prep. horseradish but very very very little. I think I've done that twice, mostly to try it.

A really good steak cooked Black & Blue or moo works good for me with just salt and good black pepper. If cooked a bit more or not too juicy I wouldn't say no to a topping of caramekized onions and Roquefort cheese.
