Default Heavy-duty Grinder

I am in need of a heavy-duty grinder for large vegetables such as plantains, yuca, casava, and yautias (cocoyams) so I can make about 50 dumplings caribbean style. I have a food processor, but it does everything else, except grind. Many people have suggested a hand-control meat grinder, but most are very inexpensive, and I doubt it will do the job. Any suggestions please, and thanks in advance.

I think the sausage grinding attachment on a Kitchen Aid mixer would do the trick.

That is what my wife uses for everything she grinds from meat to vegetables.I really like a burger made from fresh ground meat and meat loaf ;you name it.Once you get use to it you use it all the instead of buying sceapes meat timmings for ground beef you get at the store.
