They have so much money it doesn't matter if it flops.

Maybe 10-15 years ago singer Patti LaBelle "produced" a line of hot sauces with her name on them, apparently she loved hot sauce so her agent probably advised her to try to capitalize on it. I only know this because I came across some of the bottles at my local Big Lots (a store where unsold products go to be liquidated or die) and that crap was so bad I regretted paying $1 a bottle for it.

I'm surprised Ramsey would put his name on a Frozen dinner.

My best Ramsey impression below.

That's my point exactly - he doesn't need the shoddy frozen fish n chips money, his other endeavors make enough $$$.

It's like Apple putting their name on a shoddy smartphone made by XYZ company. Sure they make another $1M in revenues for the endorsement, but then the XYZ phone keeps on glitching and gives Apple a bad reputation for bad quality. Now all their historic hard work to build up their brand is ruined or marred.

They would not do that... so neither would Gordon Ramsey (knowingly). He isn't that desperate for $$$.
