If you are near a Trader Joes, try their Bomba Sauce. It's made from fermented calabrian chiles.

Not sweet, just semi-spicy and extra flavorful. #1 use is on my breakfast sammiches, also great on grilled meats.

I looked for this at my grocery store today, they don't carry it. I did find Nature Nate's Hot Honey but didn't buy it.

Usually I prefer to eat local honey. I'm thinking about just making my own hot honey with a bunch of crushed dried chiles or chile powder.

I love Mike's Hot Honey, myself! I know of several local places in Chicago that started to do hot honey pizza, and myself I like it. But to each their own.

A super simple appetizer: hot honey drizzled over a block of cream cheese, served with assorted crackers
