Anyone ever try it? Is it very spicy and what foods would you out it on. I am interested in trying it.

Here's a link from the manufacturer website: https://mikeshothoney.com/

This would be good on meats or maybe waffles, as shown. On pizza or grilled cheese? No.

I'm a chile addict and will look for this in my area. Thanks for posting!

All the time.

I use it whenever a recipe calls for honey. I really like it as a glaze on meats or with carrots. Also cranberry sauce. You don't really taste the heat when served with food.

Yes. We love it. Wegman's has their own version too.

We put it on fried chicken, and pizza, and on veggies.

This is what I would try, to add some sweetness & spice to a sauce on roasted veggies.

It's also great on chicken or pork dishes you want to sweeten up and add a touch of spice to.

During the pandemic, I immersed myself into Asian cooking videos. I kept noticing that they were always talking about balancing the different elements of taste - sweet, sour, salty, heat, and unami.

Take cranberry sauce. You have a fruit that is terribly SOUR. To make it even edible, you add sugar. Then I add jalapeno which is loaded with heat. When I tried this, all I could think of was that the heat would be overwhelming. I found that the resulting mix was neither too sweet nor too hot nor too tart.

My jar of Mike's Hot Honey was given to me as a gift. I tried one baby spoon of honey and I thought my mouth would burn. It was THAT hot. But mixed in, it was pretty good.

It is really good on fried chicken. Mix it in mashed sweet potato or winter squash or as a glaze on carrots.

It's pure heat and pure sweet without any nuance in my opinion. Can't believe how popular it is
