Hands down, Nathan's. In fact, I'm having two of them smothered with chili, cheese and onions for lunch.

Another vote for Hebrew National or Nathans. When somebody is making me a hot dog, I definitely want that hot dog maker to be answerable to a Higher Authority!

In the Northeast and around Chicago you guys have all sorts of small, botique hot dog makers, but the 2 I mentioned are national brands.

Anything that isn't all beef, I hate all beef hotdogs. Hunter makes a good dog.

Because of my migraines and the nitraites.... hot dogs are pretty much a NO NO food for me.... so I have to limit them to these:

BUT every summer I will be REALLY bad and have ONE real hot dog.... but only if it is a HOFMANN'S HOT DOG....from Syracuse NY.... why get a migraine unless it is worth it? And yes- those are WHITE HOTS.... a Western NY Fav....
