Strawberry bread. It's like banana bread... tastes better somehow than a strawberry muffin IMO. I used to make it with whole grain flour. Can't remember the recipe but it was super easy and the kids used to help me with it. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find one.

We picked strawberries this morning, I will make a butter cake/shortcake to go with them that is to die for. It's so much better than traditional shortcakes. Yum, yum, yum.

In addition to pies and strawberry shortcake, I make strawberry smoothies with yogurt and ice cream, and strawberry ice cream with half and half in our freezer ice cream maker.

put the strawberries in a saucepan break em down to a syrup.

Place a slab of real butter on a pancake then
spread smooth peanut butter on the pancake
Using a deep spoon pour the strawberry sauce over the pancakes
