Question Fast Food Service

Anyone seen someone so dirty, etc you walked out of a fast Food place and refused to eat there?
I have pulled up to a drive thru and saw the worker with the worst acne..
Or dirty and i just say i forgot my wallet and drive off.
Im not trying to be harsh(This post probably sounds horrible lol)
Just kinda picky when it comes to who's handling my food.
Fast food probably wouldnt be the best choice then lol
Anyone have similar experiences?

That wasn't very nice of you! Acne isn't the same as dirty. I had acne in my day. I'm 45 now and my husband think I'm the most beautiful woman on the planet! For anyone who thought my acne was dirty back in the day sure doesn't know anything cause acne isn't filth, it's part of growing up. I'm not contaminated today and never had any problems attracteing men since I outgrew it and it didn't make me a filthy person either.

Please evaluate yourself.

I have had acne and still have little breakouts.
What im talking is extreme acne.
You want someone with acne/whiteheads covering every part of the face handling your food?I dont. I wouldnt put extreme acne with being dirty.some acne is hard to control and has nothing to do with being clean.

You need to look past it. Even extreme acne isn't dirty. Employers cannot dscriminate based on appearance.

oh yes!
i happened to notice that a new pizzaria opened just down the street from our house. being in NJ--there is no shortage for sure. but still i wanted to check it out. so i went in just to get a menu. no one in sight. a young man at a table asked me if he could help. so i said yes. he had greesy hair, was eating sloppily, got up, licked each of his fingers and handed me a menu (yes he worked there and was taking a break)
hmmm any one want to guess if i ever stepped foot in that place again?
i dont think he was the owner and i bet if the owner was there this guy would have been fired on the grounds of being completely disgusting!

I'm so not making it personal, not at all, please take no offense. I'm saying back in my day, I had the acne, I had that icky face, been there, I can relate. I can also relate to not having attracting men since I outgrew it.

Don't take it the wrong way! It's not personal for me, don't let it bother you at all. I'm old so it's not a biggie to me but back when I was young my acne was the worst thing in the wrold so it must make the person feel like the worst and want to hide and you running from them, can you imagine what it is doing to his self esteem.

Think what you can do to make him feel better about who he is. What can you do to make someone elses day brighter!

I'm a little confused (which is typical after a day of work) but it seems like this thread is beginning to meander towards the health and beauty isle. No I don't want a unwashed or dirty person anywhere in the food service chain....zits are zits.....and the connection is......?

I never strayed towards health and beauty, I'm trying to explain that acne isn't contamination, it is outgrown and doesn't turn people into disgusting contaminated filth.

Look past acne, dirty hands is a different story from acne. Not having someone serve you based on appearance is just discrimination and wrong.

I don't see the problem, agree or disagree with the OP's experiences he didn't put down the employee, he just said he forgot his wallet and drove off. He has the right to feel the way he does whether anyone else feels that way or not.

To answer the original question I've never really had any incidents where I wanted to leave, I'm not really worried about how the person looks, more so how sanitary are things being handled, etc.
