Debsi - where do you get chrysanthemum tea? Do you infuse it yourself from chrysanthemum petals, or is it a green tea or black tea with chrysanthemum petals infused in it? Sounds very interesting.

Turtlemom, years ago, my older brother had a Chinese American girlfriend and she is the first one that gave me some of this delicious brew. I forgot about it until I saw it at the Chinese market the other week so of course I had to buy a box.

It comes in packets which you empty into your cup before filling it with hot water. It looks like little bits of flower petals but they dissolve completely nearly instantly and the tea is sweet without adding any sugar.

I see a tea with actual flowers on it in this link.. perhaps what I've always had is the Chinese equivalent of Nestea powder!

At any rate, it's good.

Thanks, Debsi!! There are LOTS of Asian groceries in the area, so next time I'm up to driving, I'll see about picking some up! Looks and sounds wooonderful!
