I made French Toast Casserole for my hubby's college class. They take turns bringing in breakfast to make going to school on a Saturday morning a little more bearable

I made my hubby promise to bring back any leftovers so I could taste the casserole. I only got Cinnamon Toast Crunch for breakfast

Well, I WAS going to make French toast, BUT - - - I went to the Summer Saturday Farmer's Market and got some fresh-picked corn and red-ripe-tomatoes (yummm!) and on the way back to my car I tripped over my own feet and pulled my back out. So poor Ol' Curmudgeon, who wasn't feeling very well, made a lovely mushroom and onion omelet with bacon and toast. I spread my toast with fresh honey I got at the Farmer's Market. I really need to go there more often.

We had Cream of Wheat (farina) for breakfast. Topped with whipping cream and maple syrup.

And coffee. Always coffee. Have to have coffee for breakfast. Or I don't wake up.
