I had bought a kilo of carrots on special the other day. Hubby went to the supermarket yesterday to pick up a couple of things for me and saw carrots on special, not knowing I'd already bought a bag. That's the downside of having two fridges (one's outside in the garage). So we ended up with two kilos (over 4 pounds) of carrots .
So I made soup! Googled a recipe. Found one from Moosewood with unsalted cashews in it. Yummy.
yesterday grilled the filet, had salad & baked potato with the works..
oh...and a glass of merlot..
