My top three most memorable meals go back to my childhood:

1. Mom's New Mexico Style enchiladas she made when we still lived in Boreal Heights.

2. The first time I can remember going to Caesars in San Francisco with my parents after moving to Northern California and getting to bring home food in a doggy bag with a little doggy on it. After visting the San Francisco Zoo for the first time and eating pink popcorn.

3. The first time my grandparents took me to San Francisco as a kid and we ate whole fried Dungeness crab in blackbean sauce.

you would have had to be a kid to eat 15 tacos anywhere in VA. When we lived in No Va and many of us were from CA you wouldn't beleive what they served for Mexican food. (I will say, eventually they got some slightly better restuarants) one time we ordered nachos and they were topped with dill pickles instead of peppers. We could pretty much only get canned Mexican food in the grocery stores and it was crappy. Finding decent Mexican food in VA was like trying to find decent seafood in AR. (other than cat fish)

I guess you must be German then. I do know what you mean, but this happened to be a Mexican (so they claimed ) restaurant.

I like lamb chops -- one of my favourite meals.

I also like fish and chips, many seafood dishes, pasta, Greek food, Indian food, and some kinds of other Asian food.
