Much as I love shrimp, I categorically can't eat them if I have to pull off heads and legs, and I'd really rather not pull off tails, either, to be honest. I don't need the creepy sea insect reminder when I'm about to chow down.

I read somewhere that shrimp are basically giant lice. I have eaten shrimp but over the years I find myself less and less wanting to do so. Same thing with lobster. I like lobster. I just can't eat anything anymore that I boil alive.
Salads with marshmallows in them ?!?! Jello salads ?!?!? I think you actually manage to make me feel queasy and believe me that is not easy !! Does anyone really , seriously, honest to goodness eat those ? Seriously ? Wow. Simply Wow.
Ambrosia (salad with marshmallows) is actually quite popular, especially in the deep south. And I've never heard of a jello salad, but my mother does make a mean jello mold.
As for what makes me say "yuck," there are lots of things since I'm a picky eater... worst offenders are pickles, fish (seafood of any kind), olives, coconut, bananas, pork, pistachio nuts, and relish. Blech to all of those!
Marzipan, really? This is the first time I've ever heard of someone not absolutely loving the stuff. Weird.
I'm not a big fan myself... too nutty/gritty for my taste, unless maybe it's a thin layer over a cookie or cake.
