Oh and yes, I do use the broiler, however, not that often, the grill is right outside the kitchen, the toaster/convection oven broils and I bought the cast iron Bobby Flay stove top grill and I love it. Winter George Forman is used. I used the broiler the other night for crostini.

That's a great idea. Unfortunately, we bought a flipped house about a year ago, and all the appliances are brand new. I can't justify the expense right now!

I've never used my broiler at all. I guess I'll have to start. How long to broil steaks??

kabobs are great under the broiler, esp. in winter or rain.

I wish I had a broiler! I have an electric stove now.

OH, when I say broiler, I mean the broiler of a gas stove, you know the little drawer on the bottom.

I would never use broil on an electric stove, with the exception of quick heating my croissant in the morning and that is only because I don't have a toaster oven.

That is a big problem for folks with mobility issues if I used mine I have to be on my knees or butt then God help me or a crane lift getting up! I do miss the taste a broiler puts on foods though. Why can't they make a broiler in the oven of a gas stove????

Do toaster ovens have broilers in them?
