Been meaning to ask you Tang guys - did anyone here ever drink Tango - the fizzy orange drink? It was huge in UK but I don't remember it being sold here...

They did a bunch of very funny ads, the "you've been Tango-ed" ones became a cult and someone got deafened impersonating the big orange guy who Tango-ed folks...hard to explain....some in the most incredibly bad taste, some just superb TV.....Oh but we have Youtube!....

YouTube - Tango - We drink Tango

YouTube - banned commercial tango seal

YouTube - Advert - Tango Orangeman

This is the first I've heard of Tango. Sounds like it may have been good or a lot of hype. No way for me to know without a taste test of my own.

Orange as in orange soda or orange juice? I never cared for the orange sodas having had fresh OJ all my life. Tang is an out of season sub that is certainly OK but still not my fresh squeezed homemade beverage of choice. I'll check the market for it and if I find it I will try it. With cooler weather on the way a Tang cake it in the making soon.

Okay, am I the only one that thinks Tang tastes like the old chewable Bayer baby asprin????

I think it's the Sucralose. I got nostalgic and recently bought Tang and introduced it to my kids who'd never had it. It tasted way different to me and I didn't like it at all. Neither did the kids. I must have been the sucralose version... I hate the taste of that stuff.

I imagine you have plenty of company. I'm easy pleased most of the time and maybe that's why I can like it. Not being a picky eater is one of my few good points.

Orange as in orange colouring I'd stick with the fresh stuff too

Apparently Tango's been revamped with real OJ in it now, a whole 8% , sugar and artificial sweetener too, ick.

This lady reviews it for you...

I've got enough tang to carry me till the fresh OJ is available. 3 More weeks and it's here. Grapefruit too.

One problem. I don't do milk. I eat the cow. I may marinate a steak in it.
