Which ingredient can replace Golden syrup?

Aunt Jemima syrup. Virtually the same thing with a little more imitation maple flavoring.

lol when i read the header i thought 'daym, there is NOTHING that can replace golden syrup!' i love that stuff.
yeah, i think a maple syrup or honey would be the best bet.

i think that old fashioned Cane syrup would be a suitable replacement.
