Default Baked potatoes - what's your top topping?

Please give me some new inspiration for baked potato toppings!

They are a great weekday meal but I would like some fresh ideas. Our family standard faves are;
  • plain ol' grated cheese & butter
  • shrimp sour cream/mayo (kids like it in in "pink sauce" - mayo & ketchup!!)
  • tuna sour cream/mayo (mine has pickles in)
  • bacon, mushroom and asparagus
  • sour cream and chives
  • leftover pasta sauces!
What's your top topping?

Ohhhhh boy! Potatoes!!! This was what I craved when pregnant with my twins. If Wendy's was out, watch out! LOL

I like:

butter
butter & sour cream (& chives)
chopped up chicken with sour cream
(all of the above with salt and fresh ground pepper) *drool*
chili & cheese

Pretty simple, really. But Oh So Good!!!

Butter. Pure and simple. Just buttah. Oh, and salt and pepper (but I don't think they count!)

I always use butter or sour cream. Mostly butter (Parkay)

Sometimes, I add shredded cheese to it while its still hot. It comes out perfect and cheesy

It depends on what I have on hand, but I usually enjoy it with butter/margarine and salt/pepper. If I have cheddar cheese and bacon bits, it makes it extra yummy!

Have you tried making like a pizza potato? Maybe some pizza sauce, with mozzarella cheese and chopped up pepperoni or beef. Just an idea.

Hey, case...do you get thank you notes from the dairy association??

Sometimes I make stuffed baked 'taters:

scooped out potato, cheese (whatever's on hand - usually 2 or 3 kinds - swiss, mozzarella, maybe some jack, etc.), butter, a bit of milk, onion and garlic powders, with paprika and parsley on top. Yum.
