I used to like Paula Deen too, today I think fame has gone to her head, and I can't stand to watch here anymore...kind of sad really...how much she has changed.

I love Delia Smith, grew up watching her on British TV, and her cookbooks really work.

On this side of the pond Alton Brown is my hero, then Anthony Bourdain, but I just like looking at him

Speaking of tv personalities, anybody planning on watching the PBS series with Mario Batali and Gwenyth Paltrow called "Spain...On the Road Again"

I love Spain and Spanish food and also Gwenyth Paltrow so i am really excited to see them travel their way around Spain! It starts Sept. 20th

I have to go with Jacques Pepin, his emphasis is on the food and not on the personality, he's very down to earth and doesn't try to make a mystery out of cooking techniques.

I really like Guy Fieri and I like to watch Paula, and Rachel always makes me laugh

I don't like Giada Laurentis (I used to just don't know what happened)

I love Ina Garten! She always makes such lovely and elegant dishes and serves them for her friends at dinner parties in the Hamptons...I find her very calming to watch.

I like Giada De Laurentiis, although she can be irritating at times.

I can't stand Sandra Lee. She just comes off as cold and stand-offish, and her show focuses too much on cutesy table decorations.

Emeril gets on my nerves, too. Every 5 seconds, "Awww, yeah baby!" It's way over the top, and now we know what he sounds like in bed!

Believe me, I feel your pain. Once my friend and I were watching together and counted 18 times in a half hour he moaned that phrase.

I'm happy for those that like Rachel Ray, but to me she is just a Long Island girl who got on the right side of some producers.

Doesn anyone remember Natalie Dupree? She had a show on PBS in what, the 80s? She was likeable and had good recipes anyone could do.

I don't like the hoity-toity cooks who make cooking seem so inaccessible with ludicrous ingredients and methods. Give me good, down to earth cooking any day. Everybody eats. Everybody should be able to cook something.

Certainly put me off my feed

In general, I like food personalities who understand the food and its preparation should be the stars and who minimize the theatrics.
