Favorite and Not So Favorite Food Personality
Who is your favorite food personality, a TV food personality, cookbook author, etc?
Mine favorite would have to be Julia Child, least favorite is probably Emeril.

My favorite would be Alton Brown so much to learn from him, I love the way he explain the history of foods.
Least favorite is Emeril, except "Bam Bam" he has nothing, I can cook elbow to elbow with him.

Jaques Pepin is good. I like the shows he did with Julia Child. Both great cooks.

My favorite food personality? Can anyone guess?
Oh My GRAVY... Rachael Ray! LOL I also love Guy Fieri...They are just two really down to earth people who cook NOMRAL FOOD LOL I love to watch them...
Who can't I stand? Martha Stewart... I know she isn't just a food personality but she is so annoying and stuck up... I don't like to even listen to her talk...and seriously... unless you have more hours in a day to do nothing better than to throw a cocktail party with exotic flowers, place cards made out of vintage card stock with the added touch of hand pressed flowerpetals, or to make the elaborate foods with a list of expensive spices you don't have handy in your kitchen cupboard... what good is she?

Love Alton Brown and Guy Fieri. THey're both so "out there". I like Paula Deen, too, and Florence Tyler, oh, and Nigella.
I used to love Rachel Ray, but she's been so over-exposed so to speak. I'm with you on Martha Stewart, skbs. I didn't like her before she was a crook. There was just something about her. Emeril....not my favorite.

Yeah Martha doesn't give off the "warm fuzzies" not matter how hard she tries. Too elitist.

She is so funny and perky all the time.

I love how quick and easy her recipes are... for a mom with small kids she has great ideas that work well with my schedule and the kids tastebuds... of course I need to figure out how to cut the fat in a lot of the things she makes... but I do that with most things anyway.
Oh, and speaking of Delish... that is how my FOUR year old describes a food she likes now! LOL
