Has anyone tried to use one of the gift certificates from Restaurant.com? I was thinking of getting one as a gift. THANKS!

Used one at Zapatas in UC. Had no problem with it. Be mindful that the certs are usually only good if the purchase price is above $xx, and doesnt include gratuity. Some of the merchants also add the gratuity automatically if you use one of these certs.

Just received an e-mail from couponmom.com. When purchasing gift certificates use the discount code "TREATS". You get 80%off. Which means you can get $25.00 gift certificate for $2.00. I just bought some gift certificates as gifts, not for specific restaurants, but the recipients can redeem them for any restaurants in the program. Good deal!

My husband buys them all the time. The last we used was from The Waldhorn (German Rest) that was for $25.00 and we bought it for only $3.00. We loved them!

Their website is acting up. I got the same reply although I know for sure there are tons of restaurants in my area. ( I know because I've used it before) I think the coupon code may be generating a huge traffic on their site. Try again later.

I purchased some a few weeks ago for $2.00 each. I was so excited. Only 3 Restaurants within a 30 mile radius...I bought from all 3. I have never heard of 2 of them, but will give it a try!
We used one the other night....while we were there a skunk sprayed outside...smelled like it sprayed right into their ventilation system. We were having dessert....by the time we left we STUNK. We had to drive all the way home in the cold freezing rain with the windows ope and then strip and wash all clothes and take showere once we got home!!! What a night!
