The majority of people who live outside New York don't care what is and isn't a sin to eat in New York City.

That's because the majority of people who live outside New York City don't know what REAL pizza is! The franchise stuff was created for them.

Being that Pizza was first introduced to America via New York City, I think its safe to say that New Yorkers could be considered an authority in terms of Pizza quality.

The people who are in New York today were not around when pizza was originally created. Therefore, their authority on pizza isn't valid unless they're Marty McFly and actually went back in time and ate pizza when it was first introduced.

I actually eat at the oldest Pizzeria in New York and probably the country, Totono's in Coney Island, Brooklyn.
Its made the same way that they've been making it for almost 100years.
there are tons of great homemade pizza makers in the New York.
Common, how can you say that New Yorkers don't know good pizza, we don't know that much, but we definately know good pizza.
All those chains are crap! No love, no soul, just fast food.
