All three suck big salami sticks. When I want a DELI sandwich I go to a real DELI. Or I make one at home.
I was going to say monkey balls, but to each his own.
If I had to choose one, it would be Subwayâ„¢. Jimmy Johns is tasteless cardboard and Quizno's is the antichrist. Subway is simply a sub-par sandwich, which I can handle every once in a while.
Ate my first Jimmy John's sandwich just the other day. I was very disappointed, I can make a better sandwich than that! Subway will always do in a rush, especially since they toast their sandwiches now, plus they are everywhere, all over the world! My personal favorite is Quiznos, just prefer the sandwiches and overall taste, not to mention the pickles, banana peppers and Miss Vickie's potato chips!
I had JJ's for the first time and I must say it's better than Subway. Quiznos, on the other hand has closed all of it's stores in our area. They were ok, but overpriced for what you got.
I never really liked Subway, and the only reason I went there was because it was the only place to get an uncontaminated Meatball Hoagy (authentic meatballs do NOT have green peppers in them).
I stopped eating at Subway's after I had my first Quizno's Meatball Hoagy (but I hadn't been to a Subway in 2 or 3 years anyway and that was 12 or 13 years ago). While I understand that Subway's does, um, "toast" (and I use the term reluctantly) their subs, they only do so because Quizno's was killing them. If Subway gives me $10,000, I 'll form an exploratory committee of volunteers to determine if I should consider eating there ever again in my life.
I've also eaten at Jimmy John's. I wasn't impressed, but I was out of a lot of money for nothing.
I do go to Penn Station occasionally for a Philly Cheese-Steak sub (but only when armed with coupons because they're freaking outrageously expensive).
Firehouse and Jimmy Johns are my favorites. Both use quality ingredients and I love their subs. The only thing in Subway's favor is that it is cheaper.
